Site Dossier

A bookmark remembers an address. It rarely remembers the spacing, movement, or small decision that made you stop.

Site Dossier saves a richer reference: what the page looks like, how it moves, how it is put together, and what you noticed. Keep it for yourself, or give selected files to your coding agent with the context it needs.

What goes in the folder

  • 01A full-page screenshot and a scroll recording. A contact sheet when video decoding supports it.
  • 02A best-effort HTML snapshot and design tokens: useful context for the page's structure and styles.
  • 03The URL, your note and tags. Keep what caught your eye attached to the reference.

Choose the capture

Auto capture scrolls the page for you. Manual recording lets you move through menus, transitions and other interactions yourself.

Saved to your computer

No account, telemetry, or developer-operated server. Site Dossier saves to a folder you choose. Giving a capture to an agent is your choice; the extension does not upload it automatically.

Use references to inform original work, and respect the source site's terms and the creator's rights.
